Shopping for your New Baby Girl

When a woman first finds out that she's giving birth to a baby girl, it's not uncommon for her to think about how she's going to enjoy her presence, dress her in adorable clothes and cuddle her day and night. If this is your experience, it's time to start shopping. Consider these three places that you can find amazing clothes at a range of prices for your new baby girl.

Online Boutiques

There are tons of online boutiques where you can find adorable clothes for your little girl. Start by looking at social media platforms like Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram. You'll find some of the most exquisite outfits on sites like Etsy as well. Everything from girls mary jane shoes to bows and barrettes are easy to find online.

Check out reviews and pictures from people who have purchased items from various boutiques in the past. This will give you a better idea of what you're purchasing.  Since many of the online boutiques are hosted by home-based entrepreneurs, you'll probably increase your chances of getting a custom-made design.

Thrift Stores

Keep in mind that there are certain items you don't want to purchase from the thrift store. Undergarments like onesies aren't great to purchase at the secondhand stores. However, you can find a lot of jackets, pants and vests at significantly discounted prices in a thrift store. All you need to do is rummage through different piles. Once you find what you're looking for, make sure that you take it home and clean the items thoroughly. Then, it'll be good as new. Don't feel pressured to spend hundreds of dollars on new clothes for your baby. This is especially true since they grow so quickly. The thrift store can be an economical way to dress your baby and save your money.

Major Retailers

Visit the major retailers for intimate items that you're going to use a lot of. Onesies are items that you want fresh and brand-new. The same concept applies to bibs, socks and hats. If you're not in the mood to shop at the thrift store and need to save a few bucks, the larger retailers can help you get what you need quickly. They'll even ship items straight to your home.
